Case studies#1 #2AbstractAn established mail-order and online retailer sought improved search engine presence and conversion rate. The site was originally in framesets, removing the ability for search engines to index much of the content; it also used cold fusion and long link URLs, further reducing its potential. SolutionHaving researched targeted search phrases, we took the framed site and created an improved template based on the same design, creating a page that was code-efficient and easy for search engines to index. This template served as the base for all key phrase content we optimised. Finalised content, key phrases and template were all fused together to create pages heavily geared towards qualified traffic and visitors that present a high rate of conversion. The website now enjoys much higher sales from search engine referrals and targeted traffic, and has an excellent ROI ratio of 7:1. The optimised pages we developed regularly achieve high rankings in major search engines, both nationally and internationally. |
